Sean is from Waipio. He came to Oahu at three, and by the time he was at Mililani High School he was already taking A+ and Network+ courses, competing in CyberPatriot, and leading the VEX Robotics team. Most fifteen-year-olds are not doing that.
He went on to a computer science degree from UH Mānoa and spent five years at the university's IT services department, where he worked his way from help desk consultant to senior technician. By the end of that run he was the one writing the documentation and training the new hires.
At Indevtech he's a Technology Concierge I — the title that says "early career" without acknowledging how much ground he's already covered. The piece of the job he's most interested in is the automation side: writing the tools and scripts that make the Concierge team faster.
Off the clock he runs, plays video games, and works on his own programming projects. Which is to say: he writes code at work, and then he goes home and writes code.
