Kemis Hancock

Kemis is Indevtech's Chief Operating Officer and the company's EOS Integrator — the person responsible for translating long-range strategy into things that actually happen on the calendar. Service delivery, operations, project execution, the discipline of making sure every promise the company makes gets kept on time. That's the role and that's what she does.

Before Indevtech, she spent years in the Army National Guard, including a tour in Afghanistan. The connection between that background and how she runs a company is not subtle. The work happens in the order it needs to happen, the after-action review is honest, and the standard for "good enough" is set at "the thing we said we'd do, in the time we said we'd do it."

Indevtech is more than two decades old. Most companies of that age have an established way of doing things and resist organizational evolution. Kemis is what evolution looks like.

She has three teenagers, a husband who is also in the Army, and the only Juneteenth observance on the Indevtech calendar. The household runs accordingly.
