Eric Ngo
Technical Analyst Intern
About Me:
Growing up in Oahu, Hawaii, I was immersed in technology from a young age, developing a lifelong curiosity to learn more each day. With 3 years of hands-on IT experience, my career began as a Service Advisor at Office Depot, eventually moving into an IT Technician role at the University of Hawaii. My time at UH's ITS department gave me a solid foundation in standard IT practices, instilling a deep understanding of diverse support processes and technical problem-solving from the start.
Currently, I'm advancing my studies at the University of Hawaii's Shidler College of Business, where I'm set to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing this December. Alongside my studies, I'm a Technical Analyst intern, collaborating closely with our tech team to refine operations and bridge tech solutions with user needs. My approach to IT support is straightforward: if I can explain the solution to myself clearly, I can simplify it for our users and deliver solutions that make sense to everyone.
Outside the office, I enjoy competitive powerlifting, where I've placed second and third in my weight class, and I'm equally passionate about working on cars, motorcycles, and anything with an engine alongside friends. Whether I'm in the gym or the garage, I love testing limits and exploring what's possible.
